A winter timetable day at the SVR

17th January 2009

This was a most frustrating day. The sun was bright in a blue sky all morning and what did we get - the first 3 trains hauled by locos running tender first. Then with some duff info we missed the Pannier hauling the first train away from Bridgnorth right way round. The sun disappeared in the early afternoon to really put the cap on it. Met up with Matt Fielding so the day wasn't a complete waste.

GWR Prairie tank loco no 5164 crosses Oldbury viaduct on its departure from Bridgnorth with the 13.45 to Kidderminster 2009-01-17 13:48:18	GWR Small Prairie tank no 4566 approaches Bewdley with the 14.30 from Kidderminster.
