Easter Monday - GWR Prairie tank loco no 4141 bows out.

With its 10 year boiler certificate expiring in a weeks time 4141 gave its final steaming today at the Great Central Railway Tank Engine Gala.

On the railway to drive the loco for its final afternoon hauling passengers was loco owner John Kennedy.

Late addition: Checkout my minivid of a footplate ride from Loughborough to Quorn on 4141 during its last day of operation. No great masterpiece but pretty unusual.
