33116 (D6535) awaits a complete rewire. I enjoyed a chat with one of the fitters in the shed who told me that the engines were fired up without too much trouble but then he pointed to a huge pile of wiring which had been stripped out of the loco and needs replacement. However he appeared quite confident that work would not take long and with some body panel repairs and some straighteneing to the chassis and a repaint then this will provide an excellent addition to the operational fleet. 2005-06-18 11:44:44 |
